249 Sunny Days for Outdoor Adventures

Visit the Countryside

It’s sunny most of the time in California. Just right for enjoying the unique landscapes, scenery, and golf that our beautiful area has to offer. Below are a few of the main attractions you’ll enjoy.

Gaumer’s Jewelry and Museum

It is a great place to take kids on field trips. The rocks are just amazing and so is the black light room.

Sacramento River Bend Area

Great for kayaking or walk the trails. Take a picnic and just enjoy nature. Lots of wildlife, birds, and flowers.

Tuscan Ridge Estate Winery

Great selection of wines and a delightful trip into the country with a view of the mountains and wildflowers in the spring. Nice tasting room with great local art and a wonderful patio under the shade of a huge oak. An outdoor pizza oven produces some fantastic fare.

Pumpkinland Chocolate Company

It really did have a big pumpkin patch once upon a time. It has now morphed into a chocolate company, much to the delight of its customers. The confections they create are absolutely delicious. All in all, Pumpkinland is definitely worth the trip.

Oak Creek Golf Course

Oak Creek Golf Course opened in the 70s and became a popular Red Bluff attraction. In 2017 it was completely renovated, from the course itself to the addition of the restaurant. With a comfortable clubhouse, 10 rotating taps, wine varieties, and unbelievable dining options, golfers and foodies alike are enjoying a new go-to spot for Tehama County.
